10-minute relaxation sessions

We have all had times when we were stressed out. Our brains stop working, and we’re stuck. And most of us don’t know better than get even more nervous.

Obviously, that’s not helping at all. You see, there is a cycle of energy that goes on throughout the day. It’s on the same principle as the one that reminds us to go to sleep at night. However, this particular cycle has a period of two hours. So what does this mean? It means that you can’t work for more than two hours straight without losing focus.  Or maybe you can, but you’ll find there is no need for you to push yourself.

So what can we do about it? Well, we can take a 10-minute break. Just lie down comfortably, and let your nervous system recover. Ten minutes of rest is all your body needs in order to repair itself and make you as good as new. Sometimes you feel like you can’t spend 10 minutes on resting, but believe me – if you think you don’t have enough time then you really need to put some aside and relax.

How To Put Our Workplace In Order

A messy workplace can be a stressful environment. If yours is like that, then you don’t have to put up with that. There are so many things you can do to make it a better place. And it’s so easy, it’s not even funny. Well, maybe a little.

First, it’s obvious that the people you see at work are those who will determine your mood throughout the day. And if there is someone not that friendly, you may want to ignore him. After all, you gain nothing from having an argument with him/her. There is nothing constructive in shouting and being angry at someone else. It doesn’t take you anywhere. So just relax and pass him/her by.

Next, the noise in your office can be stressful. Computers, people and so on. Well, people are the one thing you can’t turn off. But if your computer is too loud, you can always request a less noisy one. Yeah, it sounds like something you wouldn’t dare doing, but actually it’s not a big deal. The only parts that need replacing are the fans, because they are the main noisemakers. And it will cost your boss $20 maximum. It’s a fair investment, because it will surely keep you sane.

And last, but not least – put some time aside for relaxation. For every 1-2 hours of work, have a 10-minute relaxation break. After all, we are people and not robots. We all need relaxation and focus. No matter how much work you have to do, this break will enable you to do it far better and much faster.
